I called my father early Sunday morning.

I have a great father and he has always been there when I needed him.

15 Years of ministry

15 years of ministry at the Shiloh Baptist Church

The several days of worship blessed me and exhausted me as well, therefore I am a bit slow in getting the weekly posting out. This Sunday was an Anniversary Celebration of 15 years of service at the Shiloh Church; it was a marvelous occasion. I thank all of the members and friends for the many acts of kindness shown to me. The pastors who shared the Word of God preached with power and conviction. I was blessed and challenged by the preaching of the gospel. Also, all of the music shared was tremendous and spirit filled. I am also thankful for the presence of my mother during this celebration.

Virginia Tech Tragedy

The tragedy at Virginia Tech University has shocked and shaken all of us in one way or another.

My continued prayers are offered to the families and students of those who have met this tragedy head-on. Jesus says: Blessed are those that mourn for they shall be comforted.
